  • Summary

    As an IT Support Engineer you will primarily be responsible for answering, evaluating and prioritizing incoming requests for technical support.  The ideal candidate will have experience with both Windows based PC and Apple Mac desktop applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Windows 7 and VDI.

     

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Install, troubleshoot and monitor desktop system hardware, OS and application software. 
    • Maintain accurate records of desktop issues, phone issues and service requests.
    • Install all workstation hardware and software for users.
    • Troubleshoot workstation connectivity, networks and servers.
    • Install, configure and maintain the enterprise’s desktop hardware and software including software upgrades and patching.
    • Manage network users through Active Directory according to corporate policy.
    • Ability to work at a high level of independence, utilizing resources with good judgment.
    • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of issues related to the team and internal clients.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

     

    • 0-3 years experience in a helpdesk or support engineer role (entry level and recent grads are encouraged to apply)
    • Previous customer service related experience is strongly desired.
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and WAN.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work Saturdays on a rotation schedule.
    • Must be in the office Mon-Fri, working hours are from 8:30AM – 5:00PM (these hours can be flexible depending on manager approval).
    • Up to 20% travel may be required.
